Bonding with Erika and Paula over Kun Kaya Toast, the PAL airplane ride and the very “felt” landing, we were finally in Bacolod! Bacolod’s airport in Silay was really nice! Too bad we weren’t able to get some shots but it was very modern and clean. Although there’s a problem with flies right now because of the nearby chicken farms, the airport is still very nice
We headed to Jan Young’s house where we will be staying the night. We had Chicken Inasal and all sorts of barbecue. After that, we bonded with Fr. Noli and Fr. Gary at Kuppa. As if our dinner was not enough, we had gelato (i had black sesame and hazelnut), sans rival and two pizzas!!!! We asked what we could do in Bacolod and everyone’s answer was “Eat!” and yes, we ate. and ate. and ate.
That night, we also had DSLR lessons from Fr. Gary too.
Day 2 posting soon…
